Manage or cancel your subscription

Family Pass is an auto-renewing annual subscription. A 3-day free trial is available only for eligible users where offered. The app shows the local annual price and any applicable offer before you confirm. After a trial, annual billing starts at the displayed price unless cancelled.

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  3. Select Say It Steady and choose the available cancellation option.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid renewal. Removing the app, resetting local data, or requesting account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

For a refund request, use Apple's Report a Problem. We cannot issue or reverse App Store charges.

Restore purchases

  1. Check that you are signed in to the Apple account used for the original purchase.
  2. Open Me, then the Family Pass purchase screen in Say It Steady.
  3. Select Restore Purchases with an internet connection.

RevenueCat checks purchase and entitlement records. Restoring purchases does not restore deleted or hidden app content, grant a new trial, or reactivate an account blocked after a deletion request. If access is still missing, contact support with your app version and the error message.

Request account and data deletion

  1. Open Me and the privacy/account controls in the app.
  2. Select the account and data deletion option and review the confirmation, including if you use a guest identity without an email account.
  3. Confirm with an internet connection and wait for the server to accept the request.

Request submitted is not deletion complete. Acceptance stops account or guest access and sync and marks or hides associated data. The app clears local data only after server acceptance. A failed or offline request is not a successful submission.

Final deletion still requires processing. Authentication, cloud, guest, server, and historical generation records have not been permanently erased just because a request was accepted. There is no implemented daily purge task or verified completion deadline.

Logs and provider-held records may remain separately. Redaction is not complete anonymisation. See the Privacy Policy for retention and removal limitations.

You do not need to cancel your subscription before submitting a request. Cancel separately in Apple subscription settings to stop future renewal. If you cannot access the in-app request, contact the privacy address for help; email is not the required in-app submission method.

Local reset and cross-device removal

Resetting local data is not deletion of cloud or server records and does not submit an account deletion request. Content may return on a later restore if the account is still accessible.

Explicit removal of a child profile, plan, or journal moment records a removal marker (tombstone). Supported content is hidden across devices on each device's next successful sync, not immediately while offline. This does not prove permanent backend erasure or remove related historical AI requests or logs.

AI requests and consent

AI features need an internet connection and permission to send the required content through an AI API relay service to AI model providers. Response times vary and are not guaranteed. If a request fails, check your connection and the error shown in the app before retrying.

You can withdraw AI consent in the app's privacy settings. New AI processing requires permission again; withdrawal does not erase earlier requests or results. Saved content and non-AI calming features remain available while your account remains accessible.

AI guidance can be wrong and is not medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency advice. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Contact support

Email [email protected] for app or subscription help, or [email protected] for privacy questions and request difficulties.

Include your app version, iOS version, what you tried, and the error message. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, full payment details, or unnecessary identifying information about your family.

For publisher information, refer to the App Store developer or seller when available. The operator's exact legal identity and public contact address still require confirmation; the App Store reference does not replace those disclosures.
